The Niagara (Grimsby) Triathlon/Duathlon is only two days away!  We have some more information regarding Sunday and hope to answer some FAQ’s we are getting to make your race as smooth as possible!

Nelles Beach is posted on the Niagara Region website.  This is due to the high Lake Ontario water levels which have actually covered the entire beach there.  Due to this, they are not testing the water there currently.  We have done our own, independent water tests and have all come back well within an acceptable swimming range.  So, barring any other foreseen issues, we will be swimming on Sunday!

Because we have had to change the swim course to more of a point to point swim (remember the new swim start is now about 750m away), we will have a bag drop at the swim start where you can put your shoes and any other items into a bag with your race number on it.  We will return them all to the front corner of the transition area for you to pick up after you are done.

Sunday is supposed to be HOT (up to 35C at its peak)!  So, we ask that you please plan accordingly.  We do provide one water bottle to each participant at the finish line and will have gatorade in the food area, but plan to bring extra if you need it.  The opportunity to purchase drinks at this park is limited, so if you have any family or friends coming to spectate, please have them plan accordingly as well!

Wish you all a great race on Sunday!!
