We are always so proud when you choose to race with us. Ontario is the hotbed of Triathlon and Duathlons with virtually a chance to race on each and every weekend. When you choose a Subaru Series event we take that very seriously. We work all year long to make sure we are prepared for your arrival on the race weekend. When we first started this Series we did so with the goal of encouraging people just like you to boost your physical activity by getting out and experiencing the great outdoors first hand. This Series represents a fantastic way for people of all ages and skill levels to participate in a variety of athletic events. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be involved in introducing you to events that are both great fun and a great way to stay in shape. Come and join us this summer. Open your world to awesome new opportunities. Who knows where this can lead?

World Endurance Canada has been producing triathlons and duathlons for over 25 years. We have had many terrific events over the years. We do our best to spread our events throughout Ontario in order to reach as much of the athletic population as we can. While many people think the big cities are the place to race we do our best to avoid them. We much prefer the rural setting where the roads are quieter and the air and water is cleaner. We can also achieve that “intimate”, family-like atmosphere that rural settings provide. This is a feeling that athletes can get addicted to and seems to have them coming back for more. While we are well known for producing The Subaru Triathlon Series in Ontario, we have also been instrumental in the development and production of other world stage events including Subaru Ironman 70.3 Muskoka, Ironman Mont-Tremblant and Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant . New to event development this season will be Iron Girl Canada to take place in Grimsby, Ontario and the new host site of Ironman Canada in Whistler, B.C.

Please stop by and say hello to her!
So World Endurance Canada puts on events that take place in the summer? What do you guys do in the off-season?

Putting on a Series of events like these is a huge undertaking and takes quite a bit of organizing . Starting around the middle of the race season we are already working on the following year in order to get all our "ducks in a row". Some of the areas that need attention are sponsorship, township road permits and licenses, Association coordination, new race dates and location ,development of new events, new registration and timing plan, supply ordering, website planning and social media plans….. and the list can go on for miles. One could say we like to have all our planning done before the season begins. Once the races begin , we are in "full implementation mode"! Our focus is YOU!

The sport is getting so expensive! Why do the races cost so much?

Believe it or not, events in Ontario are the cheapest ( and arguably the best) in the world! Yes, it may seem expensive but we do our absolute best to keep the cost as low as we can. We urge you to shop around and compare. Here is just part of our costs to implement events of this magnitude. - Site, park and parking fees
- Tech- shirts for athletes and volunteer teams
- Registration Supplies (bibs, stickers (bike and helmet) envelopes, waivers, bags, pins)
- Timing – over $50,000 each year.
- Police, police cars ( range from $55-$75/ hr per officer at a minimum of 4 hrs. Cars come with a separate cost.
- Equipment Rental (barricades comes etc.)
- Equipment purchase (cones, signs, fencing, tables, chairs)
- Truck Rentals & fuel

  • My choice in Ontario for racing is the Subaru Triathlon Series. The races are safe and brilliantly run with lots of age group incentives and prizes. The race venues and distances cover the sport from Try-a-Tri to Half Ironman events – from hilly to flat – from fierce competition to first-timers getting wet for the first time. The races have history so that you can make your own history. The Subaru Triathlon Series “is” Triathlon in Ontario! See you in Muskoka.

  • The Subaru Triathlon Series is like no other...always well organized, at great venues, organized by people and sponsors who share the same passion for the sport...I highly recommend the races to anyone from beginner to pro - you'll have a blast!

  • I owe a lot to the Subaru Triathlon Series, over the years when I was first getting my feet wet in triathlon I was able to race around Ontario in a well organized, fun and competitive series, testing myself against the more seasoned pro's and enjoying races that showcased the best of what the sport has to offer. The events are incredibly well run, the venues are fantastic and the people are simply fun to be around. Good luck racing, enjoy the event and tell a friend.

  • The Subaru Series helped me get my start in triathlon. It provided me with a fantastic environment to race in and an opportunity to make a living through prize money and media exposure. Great people, great events, great racing......it's the worlds biggest and best series for a reason....I'll always come back for more!!
