April 21, 2008 - See Worthy Inc., distributor of SABLE WaterOptics, has reached a sponsorhip agreement with Samantha McGlone. The 2006 Ironman 70.3 World Champion and 2007 Triathlete Magazine Canada Triathlete of the Year, McGlone said, "I've had an opportunity to use just about every swim goggle that is available in the market place, and SABLE stands above the field. It is free to join and to use. PickupPals can track the number of rides they have given or taken, the number of km or miles they have traveled via ride sharing and we can as a Trisport group keep track of the amount of emissions we have reduced as a result!

April 15, 2008- Hello! My name is Brian Lafleur. As an avid endurance athlete, I wanted to use my training and racing in a way that could benefit others. I found Team Diabetes and saw that they had Ironman Canada as one of their races. To do an Ironman is a dream of mine and this was a great opportunity to help others and myself at the same time! January 31, 2008 - Looking to Qualify for Australia's 2009 World Championships? Owen Sound and Grimsby's Niagara Tri have the only spots in Ontario! Owen Sound has 3 qualifying spots per age group for the Olympic Distance Tri and 3 spots per age group for the Sprint Distance Tri in Niagara. Top 3 in your age group gets you a spot on the Canadian World Championship Team for Australia's Gold Coast on November 15th 2009! Best of luck to all!
